Who are you?
It’s a unique blend of rap, hip-hop, trap, and drill. I draw inspiration from a range of artists, so you might hear echoes of Kendrick Lamar or Mac Miller in my tracks. But I also bring something new to the table. I’m the author of conspiracy rap and an innovator of conscious rap. So, my sound is a mix of the familiar and the unexpected, the mainstream and the underground. It’s eclectic, it’s diverse, it’s SwerveGod.
Where are you from?
I’m from Virginia Beach, where the music scene has its own unique vibe. However, it’s a bit limited due to a lack of support for local artists. I’ve had the opportunity to work with radio stations like Z104 and 103 Jamz, which has been an amazing experience. But besides radio, most of the big shows here are LiveNation based. Despite the challenges, we keep creating and pushing our music. Shout out to all the artists out there, keep doing your thing
