Where are you from?
What’s up, I go by BigC 513. I’m 17 and I’m from Cincinnati — that’s where the “513” comes from. I make hip hop that’s sometimes funny, sometimes serious, and always real. Music’s always been a part of my life, like a song that won’t leave your head — always playing, always going. Right now, I’m focused on leveling up, building a name, and putting everything I’ve got into the music I make. My mom has always been there for me when it came to my dreams. She’s told me from the start that I’d be great, and she’s never stopped believing in me. She and Mario — the man who stepped in and became my stepdad — got me all my equipment. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I was lucky growing up to be surrounded by all kinds of sounds. My dad had me listening to everything from Hopsin and Tech N9ne to System of a Down. He was always joking, freestyling, being random — I think that’s where I got my energy from. My parents split when I was about 3. I got a lot of feelings about that, especially towards my dad, but I’ll always be thankful for how he introduced me to rap culture and music.
When my mom married Mario, a Mexican dude who really stepped in for me, everything changed. His whole family moved in, and they brought a whole new world of music with them. I’ll never forget one night playing 2K with my tío Manuel — he threw on some Lil Wayne and I was hooked. Ever since then, Weezy’s been a big inspiration.
When I was around 12, we got evicted and had to move to Olive Hill, Kentucky. Things were rough, but my grandma took us in. That’s where I met Ryan — my best friend to this day. We’d hang out, smoke, play games, and one day he put on a beat. I just started going and didn’t stop. It felt right, like I’d finally found what I was meant to do.
Now I’m doing everything I can to make this dream real. I’m young, but I’ve got the drive, and I’m only getting better. If you’ve been listening, thank you — for real. And if you’re just now hearing about me, it’s the perfect time to tap in. Check out the music, hit me up, and follow the journey.
